There are reserved seats for foreign (Indian) students. They are selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the 12th and 10th classes. Here the required score is required to qualify the net. There is no need for separate admission tests for Indian or foreign students.
Foreign (Indian) students interested in getting admission in BMC have to undergo SSC and HSC equivalent qualification process according to the local student. The Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital in Dhanmondi Campus are accommodated in two 6 storied buildings with arrangements for 500 inpatients. The new building of the hospital is of international standard which is known as Community Welfare and Health Care Center. The hospital has outpatient facilities. There are also better-quality cabins and seats for admitted patients. Bangladesh Medical College has a modern accident and emergency department.The college has recently built a large and modern mobile hospital with an air-conditioned operating theater, patient examination, and treatment system.
There are 5 large fully air-conditioned classrooms with closed-circuit televisions for lectures. Also, there are sectional tutorial rooms attached to related sections. The Anatomy Department Hall is fully air-conditioned. Laboratories of different departments like pathology, biochemistry, etc. are equipped with instruments.
