While studying MBBS in 2002-2004, Dr. Ashraful saw that only bypass surgery had been started on a small scale in this country and most of the people in the country were leaving the country for treatment of this disease. Dr. Ashraful Hoque after completing MBBS then worked for three years under the supervision of Lutfar Rahman. At that time Dr. Lutfar Rahman was the Chief Cardiac Surgeon of Labaid Hospital. Meanwhile, Dr. Ashraful took first place by participating in the MS admission test to build a career as a cardiac surgeon. Then Dr. Asharaful Haque worked with Dr. Faruk Ahmed. Dr. Faruk was the Professor and Chief Cardiac Surgeon at National Heart Foundation.
In 2005, Ashraful Hoque Siam passed MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College. Then chose Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery for MS. He completed his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in 2016 and began his medical career as a cardiac surgeon at the age of thirty-five. Now he is working as a Chief Cardiac Surgeon, Associate Professor at, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD). He also provides regular services to patients at the Victoria Healthcare Center from Sunday to Thursday.
